    Red Bird Ministries is a Catholic ministry that serves ordinary families who have been given an extraordinary cross to carry. They systematically guide individuals and couples through the complexity and trauma that happens with the loss of a child from pregnancy through adulthood. Services include various retreats for individuals or couples, spiritual direction, grief companionship calls, and community support through their own app.

    RTZ HOPE is a national non-profit organization that provides holistic support, resources, and community for all people who have experienced unimaginable loss during the journey to parenthood. They also offer virtual support groups.

  • Center for Loss and Life Transition:
    Led by a leading grief counselor and educator Dr. Alan Wolfelt, this is an organization dedicated to helping people who are grieving and those who care for them.  Find information and resources on funeral planning, and some of the most respected information and resources on grief, mourning, and the road to healing after loss. 

  • MISS Foundation:
    The MISS Foundation, established in 1996 by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore, is an international 501(c)3, volunteer based organization providing C.A.R.E. [counseling, advocacy, research, and education] services to families experiencing the death of a child.

  • Centering Corporation:
    The Centering Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and resources for the bereaved. 

  • The Dougy Center:
    The Dougy Center provides a safe place for children, teens, young adults and their families who are grieving a death to share their experiences. Though the support groups they offer are not in our area, you will find some valuable resources on their page!
